Student & Graduate Programs

In the U.S., we offer paid summer internships for current students, providing hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities. Recent graduates can explore our rotational programs, designed to build skills, broaden career paths, and launch a successful full-time career.

Internship Programs in the U.S.

Zimmer Biomet’s internship programs give students meaningful, hands-on experience in a mission-driven MedTech environment. In the U.S., students across Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and other Corporate Functions take on real-world assignments that connect classroom learning with professional practice. These experiences are designed to build confidence, expand skills and support a strong transition into the workplace—with potential opportunities to continue into full-time roles after graduation.

Beyond the work itself, interns benefit from hands-on learning opportunities, such as saw bone and cadaver labs, plant tours, leadership development, networking and mentorship. Through a culture grounded in inclusion and continuous learning, Zimmer Biomet helps early talent explore career paths and develop the capabilities to make a meaningful impact.

Internships are part of a broader early-talent pipeline that includes early education outreach to help students discover STEM, co-op opportunities, and post graduate rotational development programs.  Our commitment to developing emerging talent has earned external recognition, including being named a Top 100 Internship Program by WayUp & Yello (2023).
