Internship Programs in the U.S.

Zimmer Biomet’s internship program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience in a mission-driven MedTech environment. In the U.S., the program is described as serving students interested in Finance, Engineering and other disciplines, with real-world assignments that help bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice. The program is intended to support a strong transition into the workplace, with opportunities that may extend into full-time roles after graduation.

What makes the experience distinctive is the broader development environment around it. Zimmer Biomet highlights mentoring, early career development and a culture centered on growth, inclusion and leadership development. The company also connects internships to a wider early-talent pipeline, including outreach and co-op experiences that help students explore STEM and orthopedic innovation before moving into professional roles. This emphasis on development has also earned external recognition, including being named a Top 100 Internship Program of 2023 by WayUp & Yello.
