To ensure a fair and consistent interview process that aligns with the Zimmer Biomet’s ethical expectations. Zimmer Biomet conducts live interviews under standardized conditions designed to assess a candidate’s individual knowledge, judgment, and experience.
EXPECTATIONS
While we understand there are legitimate and helpful ways to utilize AI during job search, Zimmer Biomet does not permit its use during live interviews. Candidates are expected to respond independently and without the use of artificial intelligence tools, automated assistance, external reference materials, or support from other individuals unless expressly authorized by the Company in advance.
Unauthorized use of artificial intelligence tools, automated systems, recording software, transcription tools, or “AI note‑takers” is strictly prohibited. Such use may involve the recording, analysis, or transfer of personal data (including voice and image data) of Company personnel without notice or a valid legal basis and, depending on the circumstances, may constitute unlawful processing under applicable data protection and privacy laws.
Live interviews require continuous video participation to enable appropriate identity verification and engagement throughout the session. These controls support interview integrity and equity among candidates.

Candidates may request, in writing, reasonable accommodation related to interview format, technology use, or video participation.
